Stumbling through the desolate desert at world's end, salvation appears with a vibrant burst. Cactus fruit glittering like over ripe jewels, filled, abundant, and pulsating with life. Hope triumphs despair, and the world rights itself again.
A series I'm starting, exploring an imaginative place, at World's End. Also because as a kid I ate prickly pear fruit jam, and it was freaking amazing. My grandma used to make it I believe. I've always wanted to get a hold of some prickly pear fruit and make jam myself. For now I'll paint these saturated and blossoming, gem like cacti instead.
