FAQ's
- Around Australia shipping is based on weight. It will be automatically calculated for you when you reach the checkout. Postage is insured through Australia Post, and is fully packed in recycled bubble wrap and proper cardboard box packaging. I like to reuse packaging already in existence to help reduce packaging waste. Good packaging for art is essential when shipping, and this makes it more eco friendly.
- International shipping is through Sendle. It is automatically calculated based on your country. Again, I pack it all up safe and sound, using recycled industrial strength packaging where possible.
Artwork Quality:
I use artists standard paints, and canvases. My personal preference for paints are the acrylic brand Atelier. I use the wide stretched canvases, not the thin ones, as the wide stretched canvases are far more durable and less likely to warp over many decades. I use Gallery Standard wide stretched canvases where possible for an even higher standard of quality within the wood stretcher itself. I believe in quality materials for great art longevity.
Painting Care:
Each painting is varnished to enhance its life. If the painting gathers dust, it can be dusted with a fine soft cloth. If for some reason the painting gets dust stuck to it, a very soft, slightly damp cloth, can be used to remove stubborn dust, however, please test patch on the back or side of the canvas first to be on the safe side.
Certificate of Authenticity:
Each painting comes with a signed certificate of Authenticity. The canvas is also signed on the back, with the name and date of the painting. This means that if the canvas ever needs to be re-stretched, the painting details are still on the original canvas back, for added authentication. Paintings are signed on the front bottom corner (left or right), SJW, and the number of the year it was painted. Earlier pieces (2017 - 2018) are signed in colours that match into the artwork. Later works (2019 onwards) are signed with a bolder, contrasting colour, to make it more noticeable.
Returns:
At this stage returns of artwork for change of mind are not accepted. If there is a fault with the art work, please get in touch at your earliest convenience.
