Public art for Toowoomba: A Beary Big Trail

Exciting new creations are bubbling behind the scenes- I've been commissioned by LifeFlight and NRG Services to design a large bear sculpture for the Beary Big Trail coming to Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region in Easter 2027!

This is my first foray into public art works and corporate partnerships. It has been such a surprising delight to design a piece that tells the story of two local business, and the positive impact they have in our region, plus capturing the imagery and atmosphere of the beauty of the Darling Downs.

The design phase is done and dusted and everyone is satisfied all around. The bear painting for me begins in December. A mud map of our region, the rescue stats of how many people LifeFlight have rescued this year, and the architecturally beautiful and necessary buildings NRG Services have been involved in delivering to our area.

I can't wait to get on the brushes and paint this story onto the bear, and then even more exciting to unveil the bear trail at Easter next year!

.......We're going on a bear hunt.....🐻🥰
