Firstfruits of offering

So there's this idea in old Biblical times about giving the first/best of your initial crops, harvest, livestock, whatnot, up in offering. I find this intriguing, and also an alien concept in our individualistic and self-driven society. It's been getting me thinking..... what if (whether you have any faith beliefs of not) we all gave the best of ourselves and our things, to each other..... what would that look like?
I think it has the potential that it would be awesome. You would give out your best, but you would also receive the best from all around you, so it would not be a drain, it wouldn't be exhausting.
In exploring this ideal, I represented this first fruits, this best of self and things, in this lush, large, and ripe emerald green jewel of an apple. It's nestled in a warm, rich, and inviting background, a symbol of the feelings I envision when living out this interplay of giving, and receiving, the best that each other has to offer.
