Scarlet love in bloom

After creating an earlier piece (see 'In my Travels'), I was inspired to do a similar still life setup, but deconstructing each colour into it's own piece. This is my Crimson piece. Reds are so strong, throughout history and varying civilisations this colour has stood for many things, for me though, this piece is about blossoming, thriving, and speaking of passion for life. I chose a nod to the ever beautiful cherry blossom as my floral symbol in this piece.
'In Bloom, Scarlet Love' is another awesome stand alone statement piece, or it goes together nicely with my other colour series pieces!
