This moth is the only moth in my series so far that has been inspired by a real moth. Look up the Rosy Maple Moth. Then tell me that it's not the cutest little floof moth made of fairy floss, sugar, bubblegum, ridiculously adorable moth that you've ever seen! Or probably not seen, unless you've been to north America. It doesn't live in Australia.
Inspired by that little puffball of delight, this is my rendering of the sweet little moth.
Inspired by an uncle who was an Entomologist, and the awesome specimen table he had. As a kid I loved that table with all the insect, moth, and butterfly treasure it contained. Mostly I've enjoyed pulling the moths out of my imagination, but the Rosy Moth already looks like it came from someone's imagination!
